CITY OF ESPAÑOLA CITY MANAGER ANNOUNCES
SALE OF THREE TRACTS OF CITY OWNED LAND
On August 8, 2017 the governing body, Mayor and City Council approved Ordinance Number 2017-05 authorizing sale of three tracts of City owned land at not less than appraised value as follows:
•.232 +or- ACRES, APPRAISED VALUE OF $60,000
CALLE VIGIL VACANT COMMERCIAL LOT
•.4372 +or- ACRES, APPRAISED VALUE OF $99,000
VACANT COMMERCIAL LOT BEHIND BIG 5 SPORTING GOODS
•.170 +or- ACRES WITH BUILDING AS IS, APPRAISED VALUE OF $69,000 710 N. PASEO DE OÑATE
In order to be as open as possible with regard to a fair opportunity of all to bid on one or more of these properties, City Manager Mark Trujillo wants you to know that the winning bidder(s) will be those entities or individuals that are the highest responsible bidder (cash) prior to 2:00 p.m., October 3, 2017. You can bid on any one tract or all three but bids must identify a proposed price you will pay for each tract bid on.
The bid envelope must be sealed and the identity of the tract(s) bid on must be typed on the front of the envelope and must contain satisfactory evidence of bank certified funds or bank letter of credit (ready funds) in the full amount of the bid. In the event competing bids on the same tract(s) in the same amount are timely received, bidders will be notified by e-mail of their opportunity to simultaneously increase their offers. The winning bidder(s) will be notified by e-mail on or before 5:00 p.m., October 3, 2017. The City will issue quit claim deeds on receipt of cash from the highest qualified bidder(s). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and go through a rebid process.
